Something changed one day
It happens to all, they say.
Life suddenly became so much appealing
You feel all the time, your heart just dances and sings

Have you ever felt just chirpy from inside?
As if you are God's only creation- everyone else is aside?
As the one who is blessed
Just so much luckier than the rest!

Your heart sings a tune that only you can hear
Your face gives out a smile-so endearing and dear
You can see the envy in everyone's eyes
"No one can be so happy- its all lies"

But you know what you feel is right
It could nt get better- you never felt this light
All your worries are not so material
Only the peace in you is so real

Do you ever ask yourself what are you to me?
Just close your eyes and imagine my face-you will see.
Do you see on my face- that peace, that smile?
You helped me get them back- made me travel miles...

…..Miles from the miseries I lived in
Where smiling a little seemed like a sin
Where I had given up myself to fate
Waiting for life to end…was nt it already too late?

But you came in, held me and made me see
Life has nt ended-you showed me the door with a key
I did nt want to go - I could nt fight
You told me I can make it- a new insight.

I trusted you and took one step
It was not all that bad.
I was scared of losing it all- I was so sad.
I did nt even know if there was anything that I still had.

There are times when I still stop and look behind
From where I came- and where I am with time
I think I know why God sent you to me
To help me know myself- To know YOUR MI.

I may be running ahead and you may feel that you cant see me anymore
You may feel that I don't need you now, now that I have found my door
Just know the fact that I can only run knowing you are with me
Your presence in my life is that door's key

I look around me and feel secure you are there
I can see it in your face- see that you care
What more could you do for anyone- how more could you help?
Its only because of you-that I found myself.
